據(jù)ENR Mountain States山地諸州媒體報道，蒂森克虜伯電梯公司參與的富蘭克林醫(yī)療辦公樓擴建工程占地1125平方英尺，在近日獲得了ENR Mountain States頒發(fā)的小而佳項目獎（Merit Small Project），該獎項是為耗子1000萬美元的項目而設的。作為凱撒醫(yī)療集團在第二十大街的醫(yī)療機構之一，該建筑已經(jīng)開展了長達20年的翻新和維護。而最近的問題在于辦公樓內(nèi)的三臺電梯無法滿足客流量需求，也放不下醫(yī)療擔架。為解決這類問題，并未新增的蒂森克虜伯電梯提供空間，工程總承包商Adolfson & Peterson公司吊起了原有的部分地基支架，延長了電梯廳層的樓板，并移動新的外墻來做出一個新的電梯廳層。

THYSSENKRUPP ELEVATOR PROJECT WINS AWARD IN DENVER

A project involving the addition of a 1,125-ft2 thyssenkrupp elevator to the Franklin Medical Office Building in Denver was recently honored with the Merit Small Project award by ENR Mountain States for projects under US$10 million, ENR Mountain States reports. Part of Kaiser Permanente’s 20th Avenue Medical Campus, the building has been under renovation for more than 20 years. The most recent challenge the Franklin building faced was that its three elevators were unable to keep up with demand and inadequate to hold stretchers. To address these shortfalls and make way for the new thyssenkrupp elevator, general contractor Adolfson & Peterson craned a partially cantilevered foundation into place, extended the elevator lobby floor slabs and moved an exterior wall to create new elevator lobbies.
