據(jù)新印度快報(bào)報(bào)道，11月24日，印度海得拉巴一名8歲的男童在海得拉巴郊區(qū)發(fā)生的一起電梯事故中被壓死。這名男孩和他的姐姐都在住宅樓的四樓，他們所住的樓層。而事發(fā)前，男童打開了電梯的防護(hù)門，并抬頭看著電梯從五樓緩緩下降，轎廂撞到了男童的頭部，并將他向下拖行到50英寸。該防護(hù)門幾天前就被發(fā)現(xiàn)有故障，但此事并沒有引起物業(yè)業(yè)主足夠的重視。目前正對(duì)此意外進(jìn)行調(diào)查，警方將此案定性為可疑的死亡案件。

BOY KILLED IN ELEVATOR ACCIDENT IN INDIA

A 9-year-old boy was crushed to death in an elevator accident in a suburb of Hyderabad, India, on November 24, The New Indian Express reports. The boy and his older sister were on the fourth floor of the residential building where they lived with their family when the incident occurred. He opened the protective door and looked up as the lift was descending from the fifth floor. It hit him on the head and dragged him down 50 ft. The protective doors had been revealed to be defective in the days prior, but residents had apparently not brought it to the property owner's attention. An investigation is ongoing, and police have registered a case of suspicious death.
